Obituary of Stanley W. Kwasniewski

Stanley W. Kwasniewski, 88, of New Britain, died Saturday (Nov. 27, 2010) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in Bristiol, he lived most of his life in New Britain, and was the widower of Dorothy (Kosak) Kwasniewski. He attended local schools and was a World War II Army Air Force veteran. He then worked many years at Tuttle & Bailey, was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Church and the VFW. Mr. Kwasniewski is survived by his daughter Joyce Kwasniewski of New Britain, a son Richard Kwasniewski of New Britain, a granddaughter Christina Lewczyk, a brother Mitchell Gajek of New Britain; five sisters Jean Ryglisyn, Martha Karpiej, Helen Chmielewski, Veronica Piontkowski and Florence Gabes all of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church (corner of East St. and Newington Ave.) New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church 655 East St. New Britain.
