Tonight I feel so bad for your family Maryjayne it is such a shock and we all feel it was to soon for Butch to die but who are we to say when the day will come. All we can do is pray for you and Glen, Kim and Stephen to find peace and happiness in the good memories we all had with Butch. The Christmas parties every year and the beach house he loved so much. How many of us visited you at the beach and Butch always welcomed us and had food or a drink to celebrate life And what a good life he had with your family. May he rest in peace, his pain is gone, he suffered enough and now he is with God.

I think when a friend passes we want to know that their life was valued and that they led a good and happy life. There are many facets to a person and those who knew Butch would know a different facet to this sometimes quiet man. The Butch that I knew was a good man, a proud and decent man and yes, with old fashion values. He married his high school sweetheart who was just the perfect person to share 49 years with and to add balance to his life and keep him hopping. He was a good and proud father and grandfather and great grandfather. Butch’s life ended too shortly, but he was a valued person to those who knew him.
