Murielle & family, Our deepest sympathies go out to you on your sudden loss. Jim will always be remembered in our hearts as a wonderful, hard-working, wise-cracking Block Islander, one-half of the always popular Kelly Brothers! We were sad to see him leave the Island this year after so many years and sadder still to learn he had little time to enjoy his life after BI. We feel very fortunate to have known him. Uncle Jimmy, Oh, you were a funny man! You and Uncle Frank could have been a comedy team and made millions of people laugh! How many X-mas parties you had us on the floor laughing! You helped my father in troubled times and you were one of my mother's heros. We are sure you are making her laugh now that you have joined her. That is solice for us, but you still have left a void in our hearts. Love, Mike, Melina and Jaden-Michael Felletter

We are deeply saddened by Jim's sudden passing. He was always more concerned about the wellbeing of others than himself. We send our deepest sympathy to Muriel and family.

Uncle Jim, Of all the Uncles in my life, you are one of my closest. Afterall, you are my Father's brother. I will never forget my times of growing up with you on Block Island. Your boys/my cousins were a big part of my years growing up. The memories are all good. I am proud of the momentos in my house of you. I not only have a picture of you in your Navy uniform hanging up in my basement bar, but of Timmy, Sean, Gary and PJ as well. I guess there had to be one "smart" one who stayed away from the service. That be you little Jimmy. Uncle Jim, you will be missed. I pray for Murielle, your sons, their spouses and your outstanding grandchildren. I will stay close to my father, your older brother, over the next few days. For if I lost my brother, I would hurt much too. I know he is. God bless and I look forward to seeing you again. Love Pete

I met Jim briefly several times; most recently at my niece's wedding (Jill). He seemed to be self-possessed, kind and jolly. I really enjoyed his company, as did those around him. My condolences to Murielle and the family for a great loss. Because of my own failing health, I cannot attend the calling hours or funeral Mass. Please believe my heart is with you in your mourning. He is with God and relieved of all pain.
