Mark A. Carr, of New Britain died Wednesday, August 20th, 2014. Born in London, England, he started his career as a firefighter in 1987 and worked his way up as Borough Commander within the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority. After which time, he served as the New Britain Fire Chief from 2004 until 2012, when he pursued a career as an SES Officer in the Federal Government.
Mark is survived by his wife Nikki and daughters Adele and Arlinda.
Friends and family are invited to a service at Bethesda Apostolic Church, 249 Stanley St, New Britain on Saturday August 30th, at 10 AM. Visitation will be Friday from 4PM - 7PM at Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will be private.
