With sadness, our family extends its condolences. Although there was distance in our adult years - would like to highlight some of the things that my brother Larry extended in the early years. For the most part - he was like a 2nd dad - taught me how to play baseball, football - without that probably would not have played sports - even attended games to provide moral support - always included me in his activities - going to the beach, participating in his bowling league nights - even traveling in inclement weather - traveling to Hinsdale in Vermont and seeing him win on a 35-to-1 bet on Teddy's Roosevelt (although too young to actually understand what that meant). Larry took me to career night at Pulaski High School - to support and guide the process, as we moved from one Career Kiosk to the next - with patience and full-support - never asking for anything in return. There are many, many other things that are remembered - although the most important part - is how much of himself, he gave to others. He was a standout - and one could not only learn from Larry - one could be infected by his quick wit, kindness, consideration and big heart. He spent his career, as an Educator - recall when he first started - he gravitated to Special Needs Children - again a statement and reinforcement of what he was made of. His life was not without challenges - and no matter what he dealt with - he handled it with confidence, stick-to-it-ness and integrity. What he did for me and his memory will prevail.

Too many great memories to share just one. Larry was like family, and a good friend to Margaret and Henry. He always brought a smile to everyone's face whenever he entered my Mom's door. A true gentleman. And always loved his hats. He will truly be missed.
Love, Barbara, Harry, Jeff and Kristen.

Marsha and family, so sorry for your loss. Larry was a good friend, more like a big brother to me than a colleague. He was a great basketball and volleyball player and golfer! We spent many nights together in the car on the way to Jai-alai. I have many fond memories of him.

Mr LeSeur was one of my favorite teachers at Slade in the early 70’s. I still remember his kindness, warm smile, encouraging words, and great wit. Those memories still warm my heart after all these years.

So sorry to read of Larry’s passing. He was great mentor to me back in the sixties at Smalley. Always cheerful and ready with a positive comment. He helped many kids in New Britain fulfill their lives.

He was such a good neighbor at the plainville campground. We live right next to him and his terrific wife, Marsha. Super great people and he was so easy to talk to. Always wearing his fedora!
