Joan C. ( Plocharczyk ) Marsh, 92, of Berlin died Friday (Nov. 17, 2023) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Stanley and Emma (Kinski)   Plocharczyk,   she lived in New Britain, moving to Berlin in 1975.  Her husband, John Marsh, predeceased her.  She graduated from Mt. St. Joseph’s Academy and was employed as a legal assistant at the Law Firm of Januzewski, McQuillan and DeNigras in New Britain, serving as personal secretary to Paul McQuillan for 17 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church and enjoyed socializing and keeping in contact with old friends.

Mrs. Marsh is survived by her daughter, Karen and her husband Mark Bouchard of Plainfield, IL, her son Daniel and his wife, Jill Marsh of New Britain,her grandchildren Steven, Lauren, Andrew, Alexa (Sean), McKenzie (Nikolas), Zachary and a great grandchild, Evina; her sister in law Joan and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother Arthur Plocharczyk. The family would like to send a special thank you to Joan’s caregiver Nat, who provided loving care during their time together.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2023) at 10:00 AM at St Paul’s Church, Kensington. Burial will follow in The State’s Veteran’s Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown. Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
