My memories of Joan are only of her loving kindness and care. She managed my dad's crazy schedule (Paul McQuillan) with grace. She also helped me learn about to appropriately work in the office and how to have fun. I still have a gift she game me when I finished working at the firm - a small ceramic container with Irises on it. Joan was wicked smart, had a great sense of humor, and knew how to care for people who were often going through some of the hardest times of their lives (e.g. after arrest or the arrest of a loved one). My heart is full remembering her. (Julia McQuillan)
