Patrick is one of my unofficial uncles, a cousin of my mom’s who was more like a brother and who thereby always treated me like gold. It was always so easy to pick up where I left off with him. His laugh was infectious and his chicken marsala was otherworldly — a hit at my wife’s bridal shower and everywhere else it was served. Sarah, Charlotte and I send our love to Avery, Aunt Joanne, Kevin, Keith and the endless network of cousins and friends who love him so dearly.
