Peter was my best friend at Slade Jr. High. We had many adventures even though we ere very young. One Saturday we took two female classmates, who will not b named, to Manhattan on the train. We didn't get home until sunrise Sunday. No, we didn't score with the girls but we were pretty proud of ourselves. I am also thankful that Pete's mom introduced me to artichokes. It seemed very exotic at the time. My only regret is that I lost contact with Pete after Slade when he wen on to Mooreland Hill.

Cousin Pat was dearly loved by brother Sterling and me. We remembered him with delight and hilarity as the raconteur of the misdeeds of the generation that preceded us, my mother Mary and her brothers, especially Pat's infamous dad, Uncle Pete.
We'll miss you very much, Cuzzin. R.I.P. ~ Diana

Andrea,
I am so sorry to hear of Patrick's passing. Gigi told me yesterday. I know we haven't seen you in years, and had no idea he was sick. I am thinking of you and your family on this very sad day. Please pass my condolences on to Chris and Phil.

Brittany and family,
While I did not know Mr. Hart personally, Brittany spoke of him very fondly. She is an incredible person with an incredible spirit, which could only result from being raised and guided by truly wonderful parents. My sincerest condolences for your loss.

Andrea and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Peter. It has been a long time since we've seen each other, you always wish you can have one more get together with everyone before its too late. Unfortunately, the older we all get, that wish is just that, a wish. I am praying for you and your family, that God will provide the strength needed to carry on. And I am praying for Peter, that he will rest in peace with God. God Bless you all. Pat Gajda Beloff

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Peter. There is hope though, as the Almighty has arranged for the resurrection in the future. He promises, "... There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15)
I hope you find these few words comforting and provide motivation to prepare for the new world of God's making. (John 17:3)

I gave Peter one of my grammar school pictures many moons ago before he and Andrea were married. On the back I wrote, "I hope you become my uncle someday..". Peter carried that picture around in his wallet for many, many years and would on occasion, take it out and show it to me. The edges were tattered, the picture somewhat faded, but the hand written words of a ten year old on the back remained and really meant the world to him. I Will miss you Peter, rest in peace.

I’m sitting here thinking back to my childhood growing up on Forest St next door to the Harts. Pat was the undisputed neighborhood leader. There were a LOT of kids on the street and we all played together under Patrick’s direction. Army games were a favorite, with Pat as General and the rest of us playing whatever roles he assigned to us. There were complex plots for the missions involved and the intrigue kept us outside and occupied for hours on end. Then there were the staged bicycle “accidents” or “fights”, all designed to attract the attention of passing motorists who slowed down in alarm, prepared to stop and help. Instead, they were usually pelted with acorns, chestnuts or whatever came to hand. There is no question that Pat’s fertile imagination led us into much mischief, but other than an occasional broken bone, I don’t think anyone was seriously hurt. Pat’s zest for life never waned. He was one of a kind and we will miss him

Happy memories of the time we all spent together in New York and New Britain in 2015. Peter was a constant in our lives for close to 50 years, albeit from many miles across the seas, and will be missed. Love to Andrea, Brittany, Alexis and extended family and friends.

Well Pat, even though you're gone you most certainly won't be forgotten. I want to thank you for changing my life. That fateful day on the TSS Olympia when fired up the Colonel about Viet Nam. You started it and he finished it. The two of you changed my life forever. I owe you big time. Thank you. I will miss you. Rick

I met Pat in sixth grade at Mooreland Hill. Hopefully his poem "The Midnight Ride of Plumpy Revere" has been saved among his many literary creations. At Mooreland Hill he and I had a great time creating compositions about our spacecraft wars with the ships piloted by the female classmates. In the early 1960's we had solved all necessary problems to necessary to lead to any "Star Trek" or "Star Wars" Productions that would follow our efforts. Though I haven't seen him for some 30 years, he leaves me with many happy memories.
