To the family of Joe Pegolo, Very sorry to hear of Joe's passing, Joe and Ruth were our neighbors when we were first married, and good ones they were. They were also the God-parents to our son Andrew. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Joe brought much happiness to the life of my aunt, Ruth Loughery Pegolo, as she told me many times. He was devoted to her care in her time of illness, and he was an equally good brother-in-law, helping to care for my father during his final months of life at home in New Britain. Joe was the definition of a "good man." John Loughery

I WORKED WITH JOE AT THE FAFNIR BEARING COMPANY FOR MANY YEARS, AND WE WERE GOLF BUDDIES AT SHUTTLE MEADOW, HE WAS OUR GUEST FOR A DINNER A YEAR OR SO AGO WITH THE SENIORS AND HIS HUMOR MADE US ALL LAUGH. JOE WAS A WONDERFUL FRIEND, A CARING ASSOCIATE AT WORK AND ALWAYS GAVE MORE BACK THAN HE GOT.. I WILL MISS HIM. I WILL BE OUT OF STATE ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY AND UNABLE TO JOIN YOU IN PERSON, BUT MY HEART AND THOUGHTS WILL BE WITH YOU. JHMIII
