Obituary of Karen L. Taplin

Karen L. Taplin, 41, of New Britain, died Monday at home unexpectedly. Born in New Britain and a life long resident, she was the daughter of Diane (Schardl) Taplin and Wayne Taplin. For many years, Karen was a printer and worked for the Rare Reminder and Spano Printing. Karen lived her life one day at a time.
In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by her daughter Amanda, her son Robbie; her sisters Pamela Taplin, Tamera and her husband Eugene Ciesnik and Cynthia Taplin; her nieces Jennifer, Jamie, Katie, Vicki, her nephews D.J., Nicky and Adam and several aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Prayer Servicer at 6:30 P.M. Burial will be private.
