Rafael Reyes-O'Neil, 45, of New Britain, died Monday at the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. Born in New Britain, he was the son of Hannah (O'Neil) Reyes of New Britain and Rafael Reyes. He was a self-employed painting contractor for many years.
In addition to his parents, Rafael is survived by two daughters Olivia O'Neil and Isabella O'Neil both of California; his sister Catherine Callaghan of New Britain and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Rafael Noah O'Neil and his brother John Reyes.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
