OBITUARIES
Stephen P. Tumolo, 94, of New Britain, died Monday at an area convalescent home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he has been a New Britain resident most of his life. He was employed at Okay Industries for many years retiring 32 years ago. He was a parishioner of St Jerome Church, a member of the New Britain Senior Center, the Italian Fraternal Society and he served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was awarded the American Campaign Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
Mr. Tumolo is survived by his wife Mary (Formica) Tumolo; three daughters Rosemary and her husband James Wodecki of New Britain, Christine Tumolo and Stephanie Ouellette, of East Hartford; seven grandchildren, Daniel and his wife Denise Wodecki, Tim and his wife Gina Wodecki, Bryan Ouellette, David Ouellette, Stephen and his wife Jacquelyn Ouellette, Ken and Beata Tumolo and Daniel Tumolo; nine precious great grandchildren; a sister Mae Garaffa of Philadelphia, Pa and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Daniel Tumolo.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at
St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Road New Britain. Burial will follow in
