OBITUARIES
Cynthia Maddox, 50, of New Britain died Sunday at the Hospital of Central CT in
New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of George Maddox and the late Lena (Sims) Maddox, she was a life long resident and graduate of New Britain High School. She had been employed at Macristry Industries and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.
In addition to her father, Cynthia is survived by five aunts and two uncles Gladys Harris of Michigan, Ellie Sims and Mozell Banks, both of Georgia, Georgia McColl of Florida, Mary Sims of New York; Eddie Maddox and Robert Maddox, both of Georgia and several cousins.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., with a service at 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain.
Burial will be private in the Cross Road Baptist Church Cemetery, Toccoa, Georgia
