Obituary of Nancy Houle

Nancy L. (Barbuto) Houle, 58, of New Britain, died Thursday at Hartford Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of Mary (Gardinier) Barbuto and the late William J. Barbuto, she has lived in New Britain over thirty years. She was employed as a nurse and educator at Hartford Hospital for forty years. She was a member of the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, the A.A.C.N. and had been involved with the New Britain Girl Scouts for over twenty five years. In addition to her mother, Nancy is survived by her daughter Jennifer-Lynn Houle of New Britain, her brother William and his wife Doreen Barbuto of Norwich and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard N. Houle, her brother Michael Barbuto and her sister Kathleen Pezzolesi. Funeral services will be private. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
