Obituary of Albert L. Squillacote

Albert L. Squillacote, 95, of New Britain, died Sunday Morning at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Leopold and Anna (Fusaro) Squillacote he lived most of his life in New Britain. Having spent his career in sales, Al sold automobiles, owned the A & A Car wash in Berlin and was a hearing aid specialist. He is a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Daly Council #12 and the Indian Hill Country Club.
Mr. Squillacote is survived by three daughters Annamae and her husband William Cole of East Berlin, Elaine and her husband Richard Osipowicz of Plainville, and Nancy and her husband Kazimiere Ferenc of Kensington; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a sister Marjorie Cote of Berlin. He was predeceased by his wife Constance (Morelli) Squillacote and a great grandson Robert Cole, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MPS National Society P.O. Box 27709 Durham, NC 27709-4686.
