Obituary of Diane M. Gravelle

Diane M. (Lubinski) Gravelle, 60 died peacefully on March 14, 2010 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, where she worked for 35 years. She was born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Geneva (Bride) and Anthony Lubinski. She is survived by her longtime companion, James Nohilly of New Britain, her daughters, Emma Gravelle of Southington, and Amy Gravelle of Everett, MA, her grandchildren Zachary Gravelle, Jonathan Morrissey, and Amberlyn Morrissey, her sisters Stacia DiValentino and Alecia Magri of Southington, and Mary Lou Sargent of Middleboro MA, her best friend for over 50 years, Sharon Crandall, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Richard Gravelle, her sister, Susan Koboski, and her granddaughter Sara Gravelle. Diane will be missed by everyone that she came into contact with and by those who loved her. Friends and family are invited to Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00 A.M. at St John the Evangelist Church, (corner of East St. and Newington Ave.) New Britain, CT. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Autism Spectrum Resource Center, Inc. (ASRC) 101 North Plains Industrial Park Building A. Wallingford, CT 06492.
