Obituary of Stella B. Kania

Stella B. Kania, 89, formerly of Plainville, died Tuesday at the Torrington Health & Rehabilitation Center in Torrington. Born in New York, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha (Ochol) Kania, she lived over forty years in Plainville. She was a WAAC with the U.S. Army during World War II and worked many years for the State of Connecticut. Stella B. Born in New York, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha (Ochol) Kania, she lived over forty years in Plainville. She was a WAAC with the U.S. Army during World War II and worked many years for the State of Connecticut. Stella is survived by her sister Henrietta Kania of Torrington and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private with burial in St. John's Cemetery Brooklyn, New York.
