Raymond L. Laflamme, 70, of New Britain, died Tuesday December 29, 2009 at home. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Joseph and Agathe (Lambert) Laflamme, he lived in New Britain most of his life. His wife Mildred (Pasqurell) Laflamme, died June 23, 2006. A tool and die maker, Ray worked many years at Fenn Manufacturing in Newington and various other machine shops. He was a member of St. Peter Church the St. Jean the Baptist Society, the North American Hunting Club and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Ray is survived by his brother Albert and his wife Mireille Laflamme of Quebec, Canada; an uncle Gerard Lambert of New Britain; his sisters-in-law, Frances and her husband Robert Sinkiewicz of Canton and Shirley Sepita of Newington, Cecile Laflammeof Montreal; his cousins Norman and his wife Jerri Lambert of Waterbury, Suzanne Lambert and her husband Christopher Holden of Bristol, Dennis and his wife Tricia Lambert of Weyers Cave, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Fernand Laflamme. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. at St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Church, 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT. 06051.
