Mary Jane Lynch, 88, formerly of West Hartford, CT, and St. Justin's Parish in Hartford's Blue Hills, died peacefully November 8, 2009 in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, PA. She was the widow of William J. Lynch who died August 29, 2007. Born September 20, 1921 in New Britain, CT, she was a daughter of the late Carmen T. and Rose (Petrucelli) Menditto. She was a member of St. Helena Roman Catholic Church, West Hartford. Survivors: Daughter, Kathleen M. Lynch, wife of Dennis D. DeLong, Kutztown, PA with whom she resided; son Timothy W. Lynch, husband of Dr. Cynthia J. Heller, New Rochelle, NY; sister, Delores (Menditto) wife of William "Woody" Woodward and brothers Frederick "Fred" T. and Thomas Menditto all of New Britain, CT; two brothers-in-law, Robert, husband of Mary Alice Lynch, Cromwell, CT and Atty. Daniel E. Lynch, Sr., husband of Alice, West Hartford, CT Also surviving are five grandchildren, Zachary DeLong, Jacob Lynch, Lauren Lynch, Kourtney Shafer and Miranda Shafer; and many adored cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Helena's Roman Catholic Church, 30 Echo Lane, West Hartford, CT Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain, CT. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051.
