Louise D. Rheaume, 56, of New Britain, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, after a short illness. Born in New Britain and a life long resident, Louise worked as a senior mail room clerk at Grove Hill Medical Center in New Britain and was a member of St. Joseph's Church. Among her hobbies, Louise was an avid stamp and coin collector and she loved all animals and anything to do with space exploration. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Norman Rheaume, Sr. Louise is survived by her sisters, Jeannette Rheaume and Linda Banker and her brothers, Norman and Roger Rheaume, her niece Jamie Rheaume and her nephews David Banker, Matthew and Jason Rheaume and many aunts, uncles and cousins here and in Canada. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, 195 So. Main St. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday (today) from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative, P.O. Box 566, New Britain, CT 06050.
