Jennie M. (Symosh) Dolinish, formerly of New Britain, passed to the Good Lord on Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at the age of 92. Jennie was born in Taylor, PA, on Nov. 23, 1916. She was the wife of the late Michael Dolinish, who died July 25, 1979. She had been employed for twenty years at the Fafnir Bearing Co. Among her hobbies, Jennie enjoyed playing bingo and cards, going to the casino, making helpkis and making Thanksgiving stuffing for her family. Mrs. Dolinish is predeceased by her daughters Jean Blanchette and Julie Chiera and her brothers Chester and John Symosh and sisters Stephania Kucharski, Connie Fagan and Leona Symosh. She is survived by 7 grandchildren Linda Nappi, Michael Blanchette, Renee Rowe, Jim Blanchette, Denise Blanchette, Lisa Eisdorfer, and Frank Chiera, 5 great grandchildren Alicia Nappi, Giovanni Nappi, Kyla Pierlioni, Amy Blanchette and Adam Blanchette; 10 great great grandchildren George Nappi, Rocco Nappi, Roman Nappi, Furio Nappi, Hunter Schmidt, Allison Chiera, Nicholas Chiera, Madison Chiera, Michael Eisdorfer and Daniel Eisdorfer. Funeral services will be held Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church 66 Cottage St. East Berlin. Private burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Old Forge, PA. Visitation will be Monday from 8:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Road Newington, CT 06111.
