Dominic Peronace, 94, formerly of New Britain, died Friday June 12, 2009 at Roberts Health Center in North Kingstown, RI. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances M. (Cogliantry) Peronace for 67 years. Born in Catanzaro, Italy, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Assunta (Tropiano) Peronace. Mr. Peronace was a Draftsman for the Magic Door Division of Stanley Works in New Britain and Farmington for many years until his retirement. He also designed and built many homes for family and friends. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Thomas Greylish Council 3675, Stanley Seniors and the Independent Political Club. He enjoyed art, music, dancing and spending summers at Waters Edge. Dominic will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his love for family and friends. He was the beloved father of Barbara Wipprecht and her husband Lauren of North Kingstown, RI and Linda Patrick and her husband Robert of Uxbridge, MA, loving grandfather of Karen Petrarca and her husband Pietro, Laurence Wipprecht and his wife Jennifer, Katelyn Patrick and Jessica Patrick and cherished great grandfather of Nicholas Petrarca. He was the brother of the late Frank Peronace, Catherine Retano and Liberata Sachaklian. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq, New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, New Britain. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 PM.
