Obituary of Jennie J. Szwabinski

Jennie J. (Dembowski) Szwabinski, of New Britain, died Friday at an area convalescent home. Born July 4, 1918 to Karl and Aniela Dembowski of New Britain, she lived most of her life in New Britain. In 1938 she married Chester Drobinski and after his death she married retired Polish Army Officer Walter Szwabinski, who died in 1974. She had been a life long communicant of Holy Cross Church. Jennie is survived by two daughters Eleanor and her husband Robert Heslin of Palm Beach Shores, FL, and Maureen Brennan of New Britain; two sisters Pauline Chudecki and Helen Poulin, both of New Britain; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grand children, 4 great great grand children; one niece and one nephew. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass Thursday (June 18, 2009) at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Church Farmington Ave. New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
