Terence W. Martin, Jr., 49, of Seneca Falls, New York died unexpectedly on April 23, 2009 at the Geneva General Hospital. He was the husband of Tracy (Harrington) Martin. Born May 3, 1959, he was a son of Terence and Rosalie (Bernat) Martin, Sr. of Middletown. Terence grew up in Middletown before moving to Madison and worked as a truck driver for U.S. Foods of South Windsor for over 20 years before finally settling in Seneca Falls, a short time ago. Terence was an avid horseman and was a member of the Professional Rodeo Association and the CT Team Roping Association in Bethany. He was also the founder of the CT Ranch Horse Association, which he began with his wife just 5 years ago. Terry appeared on the Ma Martin's Talent Show in the late 1960's and was happy to help his father run the horse show at the Berlin Fair on Sundays. He was also proud to have been a member of the Teamsters Union. Besides his wife and parents, Terry is survived by his mother-in-law and her husband, Sally and Bill Irwin of Morris; his children, Shawn Martin of Norwich, Melissa Martin of Clinton and Cody Martin of Seneca Falls, NY; his brothers, Mark and wife Susan Martin of Cromwell and Patrick and wife Sheriann Martin of Colchester; He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain, on Monday from 5-8 PM. A committal service will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain, Section B, on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT. 06492.
