OBITUARIES Cecelia (Cele) T. (Marcinczyk) Steltner, 87, died peacefully, on February 28, 2009, at Brittany Farms Health Center. She was born in New Britain, and was the daughter of the late Klemens and Alexandria (Chlebowicz) Marcinczyk. Cecelia was a life long resident of New Britain attending local schools and was especially proud of her school experience at Sacred Heart School. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, two brothers Edward and Joseph Marcinczyk and a sister, Genevieve (Jean) Beckerman. Cele was a fun loving person having many friends and close relatives. She and her late husband enjoyed golfing, dancing, partying, traveling and the company of good friends and relatives She leaves her son Gregory Steltner of New Britain, a sister Helen Elliot of Berlin and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend its gratitude to Dr. Stephen Doctoroff (ret.), Dr. Kevin Greene and Dr. Eugene Ciccone for all their marvelous efforts over the years in maintaining a respectable quality of life for Cele. Special thanks also goes out to the fine staff at Brittany Farms Health Center who provided excellent service to both Cele and Edward during their declining years. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St. New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brittany Farms Health Center, Dementia Unit, 400 Brittany farms Road, New Britain, CT 06053. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Farrell Funeral Home, New Britain.
