Loretta (Kelly) Holleran, 87, of New Britain, died Saturday at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Peter and Helen Kelly, she was a life long resident and wife of the late William J. Holleran. A parishioner of St. Francis Church, she was also a member of their Ladies Guild. After retiring, she spent most of her time babysitting for her grandchildren; the job that she cherished more than any other. Gram, as she was affectionately known by many, loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Holleran is survived by her daughter Marie and her husband Patrick Heslin; son in law Ray and his wife Ellie Dzwil; her grandchildren Bob Dzwil and his wife Deb, Brenda Dzwil, Kelly Sullivan and her husband, Michael, Erin Heslin, Kevin Heslin and his fiancé Jill Curtis and Ben Heslin; great grandchildren Alexander, Emily, and Matthew Dzwil and Collin Sullivan; her brother Peter Kelly and his wife, Rita; her sister Grace Kivlin; and sister in law Irma Kelly, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Jean Dzwil, her son Billy and her brother Robert Kelly. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Stanley St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the George Bray Cancer c/o New Britain General Hospital P.O. Box 100 New Britain, CT 06051.
