Edward G. McMurray, 83, of Plainville, died Thursday (June 9, 2016) at the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. Born in New Britain, he lived 25 years in Berlin and was a Plainville resident for the last 30 years. He had been employed at New Britain General Hospital (now Hospital of Central Connecticut) for 25 years. He was a longtime member of the Svea Club, the Amber Club and the Quartette Club.
Mr. McMurray is survived by his daughter, Sharon Pascale of Farmington, his son Kris McMurray of Kensington; his two grandchildren, Christina Pascale and Michael Pascale and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday (June 13, 2016) with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul's Church, Kensington, at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. There are no calling hours.
