Linda (Greco) Cortesi, 45, of Middletown, CT passed on to a better place on Thursday March 17, 2016 after a short illness. Linda was born in New Britain, CT on January 9, 1971 and was the daughter of Angelo and Linda Greco of Berlin, CT. She was the devoted and loving wife to her husband of 17 years, John. Linda graduated from Berlin High School in 1989 and continued her education by attending Eastern Connecticut State University where she graduated in 1993 with a BA in Business Management and a minor in Psychology. Linda's passion was the fashion industry. She excelled in retail management beginning her career with The Weathervane and working her way up to store manager at The Gap. Linda will always be remembered by friends and family as a caring and compassionate person who went to great lengths to help anyone in need. Her uncanny knowledge of all disciplines of medicine were a constant source of help and healing to those close to her. Linda's wit, sense of humor and unwavering positive attitude, even in the face of adversity, were an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Linda is survived by her husband John, her mother Linda from Berlin, CT, her brother Andre from Enfield, CT as well as six nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Anthony, Devin, Nicholas, Michael and Nick. She is predeceased by her father Angelo.
Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Paul's Church, 467 Alling Street, Kensington, CT 06037. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT. (860) 225-8464.
