Alice (Campanario) McEnroe, beloved wife of 60 years of Michael L. McEnroe of New Britain, passed away at home on Friday at the age of 87. She was born on June 24, 1921 in New Bedford, MA, daughter of the late Manuel and Christina Campanario and resided in New Britain for most of her life. Alice worked at the Fafnir Bearing Company for 41 years, retiring in 1982. She was predeceased by her sister Maria Mariotti and three brothers Manuel Jr., Antonio and John Campanario. Besides her husband she leaves her brother Gilbert Campanario of Farmington and nieces and nephews David and Denice, Ronald and Phyllis, Michael, James and Nancy Campanario, Linda and Davis Oparowski, Christine and Thomas Jasonis, Nancy and Roger Thorin. Funeral services will be held Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, 195 So. Main St. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends are invited to a visitation Monday Morning from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the George Bray Cancer Center at the Hospital of Central Connecticut 100 Grand St. New Britain, CT 06050. Pallbearers for Alice's service will be Roger Thorin, Thomas Jasonis, David Oparowski, James Campanario, Michael Campanario and Ronald Campanario.
