Obituary of Sandralee M. Farone

Sandralee M. (Domizio) Farone, 66, of Berlin and formerly of New Britain, died October 24, 2008 at an area convalescent home. She was the wife of John J. Farone, Jr. Born in New Britain, September 28, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Former Alderman and President Pro Temp Thomas Domizio and Antoinette (Sciola) Domizio. A graduate of New Britain High School, she worked as a teacher's aid for the city of New Britain. Sandralee also served on the Thomas Jefferson School PTO, the Junior League, was Secretary on the Bicentennial Committee and worked in the Office of the Treasurer, both for the city of New Britain and also worked for Our Lady of Rose Hill Day Care. Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters, Angela Muir and her husband Andrew of Newington and Andrea Farone of Hayward, Wisconsin and grandchildren, Alexander and Austin Muir, both of Newington. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4-7 PM.
