Carlton J. Deprey, Sr., 66, of New Britain, died Saturday (Aug. 8, 2015) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in Fort Kent, Maine, the son of the late Maurice and Florence (Bouchard) Deprey) he lived most of his life in New Britain. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, serving his country during the Vietnam War. He had worked many years for DD Trucking Company and was a former AmVets and VFW member.
Carlton is survived by his children Carlton J. Deprey, Jr. and his wife, Christy, Dean Deprey, April Gonzalez, and Desiree Deprey; two brothers, Richard and wife Sophie Deprey and Jeffrey Deprey; four sisters Linda Bunsey and her husband Richard, Shawney Kurpaska and her husband, Zygmunt, Sherry Gregorie and her husband, Claude, and Carol Jones and her husband Larry; 8 grandchildren, two great garndchildren Kendra and Alssya; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Alton Deprey.
Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
