OBITUARIES Ann M. Argazzi, 92, of New Britain, CT passed away on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at the Jerome Home. She was the wife of the late Henry Argazzi. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 15, 1916, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Shebed, she moved to New Britain as a young child where she remained for her entire life. She was predeceased by a brother John Shebed of Cromwell and a sister Mary Malone of New Britain. Ann graduated New Britain High School and attended Morse School of Business. She was the office manager of CT Tool and Manufacturing Company, a family business based in New Britain for 15 years. Ann was also active in the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Her favorite pastimes were reading, especially the stock market reports, which she followed daily, cheering for the Boston Red Sox and boating at Mystic River Marina. Ann is survived by her daughter Brenda Manning and her husband John of Kensington, grandchildren Gregory Manning and his wife Amy of Portland, OR, Allyson Jaye and her husband Gary of Kensington 4 great grandchildren Abigail and Olivia Jaye of Kensington, and Anthony and Joseph Manning of Portland, OR. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church 566 East St. New Britain or to the Jerome Home Scholarship Fund 975 Corbin Ave. New Britain, CT 06052.
