Barbara J. Jacques, 77, of Newington, died Thursday (May 28, 2015) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Louis and Angeline (DiPinto) Okenquist, she lived many years in Newington.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Donna and her husband Norman Olson of Bristol, her son Jeffrey Jacques of New Hartford, their father Norman A. Jacques; a sister Jeannette Wilson of Hartford; two grandchildren Dominic Paventi III of New Britain and Jesse Paventi of New Britain; and several nieces, nephews and cousins
Funeral services will be private with burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
