Philip Louis Ouellette, 94, of New Britain, died early Sunday morning (May 24, 2015) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in Caribou, ME, he lived most of his life in New Britain. He was predeceased by his wife Thelma (Skidgel) Ouellette. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Teamsters Union during his career.
Mr. Ouellette is survived by two sons and a daughter Roy and his wife Mindi Ouellette of Buena Vista, VA, Leo and his wife Antoinette Ouellette of Southington and Phyllis and her husband Steve Fentner of Bristol; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; two brothers Robert and his wife Alice Ouellette of Stockholm, ME and Gilbert and his wife Joyce Ouellette of Calabash, No. Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with burial in the Veteran's Section of Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
