Obituary of Lana Shaw

Lana (Dufault) Shaw, 70, wife of Raymond Shaw, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, January 26, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Raphael (Jack the Builder) and Rose (Buchas) Dufault, and a lifelong resident of New Britain. Lana was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, as well as it's Ladies Guild, the Mr. & Mrs. Club, and the church choir. She also worked at Nassau, Borowy & Griffith as a legal secretary. She was a very caring mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and Josh Groban fan. She leaves to mourn her beloved son, Darryl and his wife Sandra Shaw, as well as the two lights of her life, her grandchildren Darryl, Jr. and Krista Rose Shaw. She also leaves numerous cousins and close friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday (Jan. 31,2015) 9:15 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday (Jan. 30, 2015) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
