OBITUARIES Teresa Bonadio Aiudi, of New Britain and Old Saybrook, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the loving wife of 49 years to Ettero Aiudi, Jr. Teresa was born in Boston on March 14, 1930 to Joseph and Tina Bonadio, spent most of her young life in Brooklyn before moving to New Jersey. In 1959, she married Eddie and moved to New Britain where she lived the rest of her life, summering in Cornfield point, Old Saybrook. Beside her husband, Teresa leaves her son Jeffrey Aiudi of New Britain, her daughter and son in law Jamie and Thomas Emmanuel of Rocky Hill, bothers Richard Bonadio of California and Joseph Bonadio of New Jersey, brother and sister in law Joseph and Doris Auidi of New Britain, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Teresa also leaves her two precious granddaughters Olivia Grace Emmanuel and Charlotte Teresa Emmanuel of Rocky Hill. The last years of her life were lived for the joy these two girls brought her. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched, including her dog Frisbee. Teresa was a very giving person who over the years always was very active in volunteering. When her children were small, she was the president of the Mother's Club at Gaffney School in New Britain for many years. She also was involved at St. Paul's School in Kensington, where for many years she loved teaching a cooking course to the students. For over a decade Teresa was also in charge of he Bakery Booth at the Berlin Fair and was a staple at the Taco Booth. She also love being an adult volunteer at Little Flock Preschool at St. Maurice Church where she was known for many years as Miss Teresa. She was also a member of the New Britain chapter of the General Federation of Women's Club of Connecticut. Teresa was also an active member of the Women's Auxiliary of Cornfield Point. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 2550 U.S. Highway 1, North Brunswick, New Jersey 08902 or to the American Lung Assoc. 45 Ash St. East Hartford, CT 06108. The Family would like to thank the staff at Yale New Haven Hospital, Cardiac ICU, Medical ICU and 5 - 7 East Pavilion for all their outstanding care. A special thank you to Dr. Jonathan Siner for his dedication and compassion.
