Obituary of Claude Vallieres

OBITUARIES Claude F. "Val" Vallieres, 65, of Bristol, died Saturday Morning at Bristol Hospital. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Francis and Blanche (Arton) Vallieres, he lived in Bristol since 1972. He had been employed for forty one years at Fenn Manufacturing in Newington, where he made many friends along the way. Mr. Vallieres is survived by his wife of forty one years Anna (Thomson) Vallieres, his son Steven and his wife Debra Vallieres of Bristol; his daughter Robin and her husband Joe Nation of Georgia; three grandchildren Evan Vallieres, Josie Nation, and Logan Nation; a sister Claudette and her husband John Patricia of Arizona; several cousins and he leaves behind his special friends Donnie, Michele, Emerald and Noelle Currie. He was predeceased by a nephew Kevin Blair. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 538 Preston Ave. Meriden, CT 06450.
