Doris (Madore) Raymond, 79, passed away peacefully Friday, September 26, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Armand Raymond.
Born in Daigle, Maine to the late Lena(Voisine) & Albert Madore, She moved to New Britain in 1954 and lived there until July, 2014 when she moved to Apple Rehab in Plainville to be closer to her sister & best friend, Verna Madore.
She Retired from North & Judd in 1983 and spent the rest of her able years caring for grand children and great grand children. She loved UCONN Huskies basketball, especially the Lady Huskies, and enjoyed cheering them on with her dear friend Marge. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She leaves her children, Theresa Stankoski of Plainville, Joanne Hladki of South Windsor, James Raymond and his wife Mary of Southigton and Brenda Humphrey and her husband Ray of New Britain; her Grandchildren Sherry Pratt & her husband Bill of NH, Melissa Wojcik & her husband Joe of Plainville, Matt Stankoski & his wife Amber of Plainville, Nichole Hladki of Vernon, Becky Tarbell and John of Hebron, Stacey Hladki of KY, Andrea Hladki of Vernon, Erin Raymond DeSanti & her husband Jerry of West Haven and Chrissy Raymond and her fiancé Brian Soto of Meriden; her Great grandchildren Nina, Austin & Mya Didsbury, Alexis Wojcik, Mattie Stankoski, Jayden Flint, Steven Tarbell, Alexis & Jason Disipio, Tiffany Hudspeth & Douglas & Elizabeth Dufour.
She also leaves her sisters, Verna Madore of Southington, Jeannette Wright and her husband Phil of Clinton, ME and Nancy Spencer of Albion, ME; her brothers, Clifford Madore and his wife Lucy is Schenectady, NY, Gilbert Madore of New Britain, Bernard Madore and his wife Aline of Meriden, and Patrick Madore of Martin, GA. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 4 sisters, Bernice, Berdina, Gladys & Gilmay and 9 brothers, Reginald, Normam, Gilman, Gerard, Nelson, Sylva, Noel, Philip & Bertrand Madore.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:00 Am from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
