Carl L. Bosse, 54, of Cameron, North Carolina, formerly of Berlin, died unexpectedly on Thursday (March 6, 2008). He was born on January 5, 1954. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to very many. He was the son of Renette (Cyr) Bosse and the late Louis Bosse and had lived most of his life in Berlin and moved to North Carolina 10 years ago. A licensed plumber and foreman for his own business, Boss Plumbing & Heating in Berlin, he spent some of his career working with his father and youngest brother Brian in the Lou Bosse Plumbing & Heating business and various other companies over the years.
He was an extremely devoted and avid Nascar and Dale Earnhardt fan and had a deep love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, the outdoors and working on his small farm in North Carolina. In addition to his mother, Carl is survived by a brother, Russell Bosse of Berlin, and a sister, Karen Bosse of East Hampton, his godchildren and nieces April and Alexa Bosse and nieces and nephews Vincent, James, Derrik, Chelsey Bosse, Nicole and Melissa Bosse Lis and a grand niece Veronica. He is predeceased and is now at rest with his two very dear brothers Michael P. Bosse and Brian L. Bosse. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed helping others. He will be sadly missed by his family and very many relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred heart Church, East Berlin. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:30 A.M. until the time of Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sacred Heart Church 66 Cottage Street East Berlin.
