Dorothy "Dotty" C. Sullivan, age 96, of New Britain died at her home on February 12, 2008. She was the widow of John L. Sullivan, former Mayor of New Britain. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mae (Francesco) Cushing. She was raised in Bristol before moving to New Britain. Dotty was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Dotty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and John Wolak of New Britain and grandchildren, Erin, James and Brian Wolak. She was predeceased by her brothers, William and Edward Cushing. Friends may call at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
