OBITUARIES Albert S. DeFazio, 90, of New Britain, died Monday at a local convalescent home. Born in New Britain and a lifelong resident, he was a mail carrier for the New Britain Post Office for twenty five years. He Was a World War II Air Force Veteran, a member of the VFW, and he volunteered at the Newington Veteran's Hospital. His wife, Agnes (Vento) DeFazio passed away Aug. 11, 2001. Mr. DeFazio is survived by his sisters Rose Magnano of Kensington, Josephine Petruff of Tucson, AZ, Antoinette Russo of New Britain, Ruth Campanario of New Britain and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters Molly Aldi, Gloria Carson and Adeline DePaolo and a brother Joseph DeFazio. Funeral services will be held Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Church North St New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
