Born in Bristol, daughter of the late Donald and Alyce (Pickett) Pelletier, she lived most of her life in New Britain and was employed for many years by the State of Connecticut in the Legislative Commissioners Office. She was a parishioner of St. Maurice Church. Jerry is survived by five children: her son Thomas and his wife Stacy Fusaro of Nantucket, MA, her daughters Donna and her husband Tom Redmond of Kensington, Joan and her husband Bob Zakszewski of New Britain, Nancy and her husband Chris Robertson of Plantsville and her daughter Marylou Thureson of Collinsville, fourteen grandchildren: Jill and Amy Osiecki, Ariana and Adrienne Costakes, Riley Fusaro, Kevin, Brian, and Scott Zakszewski, Jeff and Kelly Macken, Jamie Robertson, Stacey, Karen and Michael Thureson; her sister and best friend Joan Laurito of Rocky Hill, her brother Don Pelletier of Maryland; her former husband Ted Fusaro and several nieces and nephews. Mom truly enjoyed and celebrated life and will always be remembered for her sense of humor and infectious laugh. Her greatest joy was time spent with her children and grandchildren. Mom, we will hold you in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Maurice Church, 100 Wightman Road, New Britain CT. Burial will be private. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the entire staff at the Alzheimer's Resource Center, especially Linda and Debbie for being Mom's angels in our absence.
