OBITUARIES Gerald J. Drisdelle, 74, of New Britain, died Thursday at a local convalescent home. Born in St. Paul, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of the late John and Josephine (Gallant) Drisdelle, he was a Newington and New Britain resident since the mid 1950's. A skilled carpenter and craftsman, Gerald was the owner of Drisdelle Builder for many years. He was well known as an accomplished ballroom dancer and was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Gerald is survived by three sisters Imelda Maillet of Cocagne, New Brunswick, Canada, Lorraine Hebert of Newington, and Maria and her husband Donald Riccardi of Farmington, a brother Laurie and his wife Fernande Drisdelle of Wethersfield; three sisters in law Irma Drisdelle of Southington, Dorine Drisdelle of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, and Jeannette Drisdelle of Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Emerie Drisdelle, Willie Drisdelle and Lionel Drisdelle and two brothers in law Paul E. Hebert and Alcide Maillet. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8:30 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church 1755 Stanley St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Immaculate Conception Shelter P.O.
