Obituary of Margaret Kelly

Margaret M. "Peggy" Kelly, age 74, of Old Saybrook and formerly of Kensington died December 2, 2007 at New Britain General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Kelly, Sr. Born in Stamford, December 14, 1932, she was a daughter of the late John J. & Ellen (McCarthy) O'Leary. Peggy was employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Education for many years before her retirement. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Ellen T. Dirgins and her husband Daniel of Sharon, MA, sons, Robert E. Kelly, Jr and his wife Angeles of Kensington, Kevin E. Kelly and his wife Mary Pat of Colchester and John J. Kelly, also of Colchester; a sister, Eileen Hogan of Greenwich and a brother, John F. O'Leary of Stamford. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 7th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends may call at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain, on Friday morning from 9:00 - 10:30 A.M.
