Obituary of Frances Cote'

OBITUARIES Frances V. Cote', 82, of Newington, died Friday Night at home. Born and raised in New Britain, the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Blair) Smith, she lived many years in Newington. She was the widow of Gustave Cote', who died in May 1978. A very active member of the Holy Spirit Church, she was a member and past president of the church's Ladies Guild, a member of Civitan and Renew. Mrs. Cote' is survived by two daughters Laura Cote' and her husband Gerald Strecker of Punta Gorda, FL, Cheryl and her husband James Ferguson of Amston, CT; two grandchildren Kristen Strecker and Joshua Strecker, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Abbey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Spirit Church, Newington. Burial will follow in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
