Obituary of Elizabeth Zigmund

OBITUARIES Elizabeth B. (Timko) Zigmund, of Kensington, died Wednesday (Aug. 29, 2007) at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Duran) Timko, she was a Kensington resident for the last fifty years. She was the wife of the late John Zigmund who died in 2002. She had been employed at Northeast Utilities and was a member of the Northeast Utilities Fifty Year Club. She was also a parishioner of St. Paul's Church. Mrs. Zigmund is survived by her sister Kathleen T. Gabes of Southington and three nieces Maryrose Pasco, Cheryl Gabes Rice and Karen Timko and two nephews Timothy Gabes and Keith Timko. She was predeceased by a sister Regina Mistieri and two brothers Paul and John Timko. Funeral services will be held Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Church Kensington. Burial will follow in St. Mary Church New Britain. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
