Obituary of Frank Mirabelli

Obituary Mirabelli: Frank Mirabelli, 87, husband of Flora Nanni Mirabelli, of Kensington died July 5, 2007 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in Calabria, Italy, Frank worked for New Britain Machine for many years, was co-founder of Hygrade Tool and retired as owner of Middlesex Engineering in Berlin at the age of 74. Frank was also a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II and proud to have been a member of the New Britain Chapter of UNICO where he was honored as "Man of the Year." He was also a longtime parishioner of St. Paul's Church in Kensington. Besides his wife, other survivors include his daughter, Jan Jacobs of Bristol; granddaughters Amanda and Krista Jacobs and a son-in-law Tom Jacobs, all of Southington; sisters, Mary Santo and Pauline Cacavalo both of Florida; sister-in-law Rica Nanni of Rhode Island and a brother-in-law Fred Nanni of California; Frank is predeceased by his parents Federico and Lucia (Cerra) Mirabelli. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain.
