OBITUARIES
Rose T. (Derosier) Collin, 74, of New Britain, died Wednesday Night at the Orchards in Southington. Born in Ste. Agatha, Maine, the daughter of the late George and Clara (Thibeault) Derosier, she came to New Britain in 1941. She was the widow of Camille Collin. Early on, she worked at the Fafnir Bearing Co, then became a bookkeeper at various companies in Connecticut and then worked at Silverburg Jewelers in Florida, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and was well known as an avid bowler.
Mrs. Collin is survived by three sons Dennis H. Collin and his wife Sharon of New Britain, David G Collin and his wife Cheryl of Bradenton, FL, and James G. Collin and his wife Margaret of Harwinton, six grandchildren Jeremy, Alison, Matthew, Jessica, Claire and Christopher, two great grandchildren Zachary and Aubrey; a brother Gilbert Derosier and a sister Priscilla Savoie and several nieces and nephew. She was predeceased by four brothers Adolph, Lezime, Leo and Roland Derosier and a sister Cecile Dionne.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be today (Friday) from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
