OBITUARIES Maben, Virginia (Lanza), 88 of New Britain, died Saturday April 21, 2007 at the Haven Health Care in Farmington. Born in New Britain she was the daughter of the late William and Majorie (Sullivan) Lanza, and was a lifelong resident of New Britain. She was the widow of Aden H. Maben, and was employed at General Electric for 28 years. A parishioner of St. Maurice Church, she served on the Board of Directors of the G.E. Federal Credit Union. Virginia is survived by two sons, Richard G. Maben of Middletown, and John C. Maben of New Britain, two sisters, Gloria Lanza and Marjorie Lanza both of New Britain, one brother William Lanza of Columbia, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Lanza. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 9:30 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM at St. Maurice Church, 100 Wightman Rd . New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary�s Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday 4 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
